Answer (Easy):
Chuskit wanted to go to school but could not because the path was rough and there was a stream. Abdul spoke to the Headmaster about her problem. The Headmaster and teachers decided to help her. The children worked together to level the path and build a wooden bridge. Chuskit’s parents helped by giving refreshments. Finally, the path was ready and Chuskit could go to school for the first time in her life.

Answer (Easy):
Abdul wished to help Chuskit because she wanted to go to school like other children but could not do so due to the difficult path and the stream. He felt she should also get a chance to study.
2. Why did Chuskit’s grandfather have tears in his eyes when he saw the bridge being made?
Answer (Easy):
Chuskit’s grandfather had tears in his eyes because he never thought Chuskit would be able to go to school. Seeing the children and teachers making a bridge for her made him very happy and emotional.
